Mother's Day Activities for PreK, Kindergarten and Special Education

Spring is here, and with it brings Mother’s Day! I know you’re probably feeling the pressure to create an adorable gift for your student’s to bring home to a their special grown up.

I also know you need something low prep, simple and affordable! Keep reading for some Mother’s Day gift ideas that students of all abilities can successfully create.

Do you have a class of students who are writing at different levels? If so, you’ll love this set of differentiated writing activities!

I love that it comes with writing prompts, visual aids, and an option for student’s to simply cut and paste words to describe their mom (or other special grown up in their life).

The set of differentiated writing activities is 30 pages and full of various activities including crafts, a poem, various writing activities with and without prompts, visual aids, and even a writing checklist to help students complete a self assessment of their work.

It comes with writing activities for moms, but also for various other special women too!

What I love the most about these printables is that they help your students to create a truly special and meaningful card that allows them to communicate to their mom (or other grown up) what they love about them!

For many of our students with language delays and communication disorders, they don’t often have the supports available to be able to tell their moms what they love about them.

I can’t think of a better gift for their moms and mother figures to receive this Mother’s Day!
